The studio's full-time instructor, Hisae Baird, holds a Bachelor of Music from Kunitachi College of Music. Hisae began studying at the age of four, and has been involved with music her whole life. In addition to her studies in Japan, Hisae has also pursued musical interests in the US. She studied in Southern California for 3 years, where she attended a number of education institutions such as UCI, UCR, CSU-Fullerton, and Saddleback College. During her stay, Hisae also taught piano, both privately and at a music academy, and accompanied soloists and choirs. Hisae's repertoires span a wide range of genre, to include classical, jazz, popular, and Japanese traditional. However, her strongest characteristic is probably her depth of knowledge of music theory, history, and education.
